Review by Janeane - ARC received for honest review
Synopsis:
Jane Black has written the break-up album of the century, earning her a Grammy, a huge legion of new fans, and the pressure to repeat her success. Sure, the heartbreak from her husbands unconventional abandonment might have been her inspiration, but it hasnt done her any favors in the dating department. So when Matthew Harrigan, the toughest music journalist out there, asks for an interview, Jane agreesas long as her personal life is completely off-limits.

British, gorgeous, and way too tempting, Matthew
s the first guy Janes been attracted to since her husband. As she spends more time with him and their relationship heats up, though, so does her writers block. How can the queen of the break-up pen the perfect follow-up when shes seriously in love?

Review:
I have to say, I love Lauren Blakely's writing, and I was pretty sure before I even started that I was going to love Far Too Tempting.  And I wasn't wrong.  I love my rock star books, but this is not your average rocker book.

After having her heart shattered, Jane Black wrote the break up album of the decade. After previous middle of the road albums, she is not really ready for the accolades she is now receiving.  Or the celebrity.  She just wants to do what is best for herself and her son.

Matthew Harrigan, super hot music critic.  But not your usual music critic. His opinions can't be bought, and he is all about the music, not out to personally attack musicians.

There has been a simmering attraction between Jane and Matthew over the months, a little bit of harmless flirting never hurt anyone, right?  There is not really a will they/won't they vibe, it is more of a when will they /  how will they hook up.

Jane is feeling the pressure to ride the wave of her current success and write the next hit album.  But when she is not feeling the hurt, her muse is gone.

As much as I love her, sometimes I just wanted to shake Jane and tell her to stop it! Stop being so nice to people!  Your husband broke your heart and lied for years, yell at him don't do everything to appease him grr grrr!

I love how down to earth Jane is.  Her brother and her sister keep her solid, as does her son.  I love how one night they are all at the Grammy Awards, the next Jane is helping with his homework

Matthew is just potent sexuality.  Blakely has such a way with words when it comes to her men.  Seriously hot whether it is mucking around in the kitchen on burning up the sheets.  And of course perfect for our heroine!

I can totally understand Jane being gun shy  when it comes to giving her heart away again, and I loved the journey that we are taken on as she finds love again.

Far Too Tempting is a lighthearted, fun romance that I thoroughly enjoyed, and hip hip hooray, no cliffhanger.

Thank you Lauren Blakely for bringing us Jane and Matthew
