Blog Tour - Home for The Holidays by Lori Toland

Jason Stockton and Blaze Shinozuka are looking forward to escaping their hectic rock and roll lifestyle for a relaxing holiday. Their plan seems promising, and the passion between them burns hotter than ever as they keep each other warm despite the icy temperatures.

When a surprise Stockton family get-together threatens to reveal what Jason would rather keep hidden, their budding relationship is put to the test and an impromptu trip to Hawaii makes the differences between them more obvious than ever.

Thanks to two chaotic family holidays and a lot of painful secrets, Christmas could end up being more than their new found love can endure.

And *NEW* The Journey Onward

Getting back from paradise and being alone is exactly what Jason and Blaze need to build their relationship and break down the barriers between them but nothing is ever that simple. Being in LA means back to work for Jason and Blaze gets a sample of what life will be like as Jason
s partner.

Can loving each other be enough to keep them together? Blaze is finding out how much work goes into keeping a relationship alive and in their darkest hour, they will have to stand united as partners to weather a storm that could devastate their future.

Before you read Home for the Holiday, you need to read The Replacement Guitarist.
I am right into the m/m genre at the moment, and Home For The Holidays fits right into that category.
Continuing from where The Replacement Guitarist ends, Jason and Blaze are moving along in their relationship.  Over all the months they have been together, work commitment have kept them apart for all but a handful of days.
Blaze is still on tour with one of the world's biggest pop stars, Jason is busy running his business.

Now they will be spending the holiday season together, this will be a real test for them.
They not only have to learn how to live together, but how to cope with all their family.
I loved the dynamics between both Jason and Blaze and their families.  The fact that the families were not all portrayed as perfect, Brady Bunch like families, and that they all had troubles and tensions amongst their loved ones made it all the more realistic.
And Jason and Blaze have their fair share of spats, misunderstandings and troubles. Do they get throught them?  For that you are going to have to read for yourself!
The sex scenes are hot - though maybe a few too many of them?  I am all for a steamy hookup, but I felt that at times a sex scene may have been thrown in just for the sake of it.  But this may just be me!

"The tingle in his spine had started when Jason entered him and now it spread through him, slowly at first, then like wildfire as it consumed him. Jason’s slow thrusts were toe-curling, passion-inducing, and Blaze groaned as Jason’s cock tapped his gland on one of the strokes."

There are the ever present forces trying to keep Jason and Blaze apart, ruin careers, destroy their happiness.  Especially Cassie, the singer Blaze works with.  She is a complete and total
Lori Tolland has created a great set of characters, who though at times I thought acted a little immaturely (Blaze especially, but compared to me he is still a baby!!) drew me into their world.
A few typos and missing words did start to creep into the book as it got towards the end (though it was not as bad as The Replacement Guitarist) and they weren't too bad, but I did notice them.
All in all an enjoyable book, and I will read the 3rd book when it comes out, as I need to know what happens with these beautiful boys.
