I was over the moon happy to receive an advanced copy of A Reason to Kill from CP Smith, and I can tell you now, I was not disappointed!

If you have read her previous two books, A Reason to Breath and Restoring Hope, you will know that she has a way with writing about sexy alpha men and the women they fall for.

And Max Hunter is the man. Logger, town protector, single till the day he dies. Until her.

Mia is just adorable. Her and her love of all things bears will be the death of him!

I love the sexual tension between them. There is a kind of love/hate thing going on there... more that they hate that they feel what they do!

I love the many "Max's" along the way... Believe me, you will too

As with all worthy relationships, things don't run smoothly for Max and Mia. We are taken on quite a ride as they try to figure out their feelings and relationship.

There is also some mystery and intrigue that stops their relationship from being all smooth sailing. I love a good whodunnit!

I get the small town vibe in A Reason To Kill. Living in a small town myself, I understand how everyone know's everyone's business, how people rely on each other for work and play, and oh yeah, can't forget that gossip mill!

I LOVED Maxine. OMG her and her cohorts are a hoot. Some of the things that they get up to are hilarious! There was more than one occasion that their antics made me laugh out loud.

So do Max and Mia find a HEA? For that you will have to read for yourself.

Now if that wasn't enough to make you want to read it, here's a bit more inspiration.
