Force of Attraction is the second book in the K-9 Rescue series, but can be read as a stand alone.

Cole and Scott have history.  Sexy history.  It has been 2 years since their relationship imploded, and now that their worlds have come together again, you just know from the beginning that things are going to be interesting!

And wow, they are.  As much as this book is about the attraction between Cole and Scott, there is so much more going on around them.

They are whisked into a world of drug trafficking, the agility dog circuit, bikers and undercover police work (yes, I know, a real mixed bag of things!!)

I felt like there were 4 main characters in this book.  Hugo and Izzy, Cole and Luke's police dogs, both play such huge parts in their stories.  I think Hugo may have even stolen the limelight a bit!

There was some mystery and intrigue throughout this story, and while I could kind of figure out how things would end, I was on the edge of my seat to see how things could happen.

All in all, I really did enjoy this book.  It did make me look at my own dog though and think "look at you you lazy old lump of a thing!!"

I have really enjoyed both of the K-9 Rescue series by D.D Ayres, and I look forward to more in the future.

A veteran author of romance and womens fiction, D.D. Ayres is new to Romantic Suspense. She believes the lure of romance is always the human connection. Put that connection in physical jeopardy, and and we learn a bit moreabout who we really are.
